Koronowane na mocy dekretu Stolicy Apostolskiej wizerunki Najświętszej Maryi Panny w sanktuariach diecezji przemyskiej do 1939 roku – rys historyczny

Badanie przedstawia koronowane wizerunki Najświętszej Maryi Panny w diecezji przemyskiej od pierwszej połowy XVIII wieku do 1939 roku. Wtedy w diecezji przemyskiej koronowano 14 wizerunków Maryi na mocy prawa papieskiego. Praca skupia się na krótkiej historii poszczególnych wizerunków Maryi, początku i rozprzestrzenianiu się kultu oraz zgromadzeniach zakonnych lub kapłanach diecezjalnych, którzy opiekowali się poszczególnymi sanktuariami. Analiza przeprowadzona przez autora ujawniła, że następujące czynniki doprowadziły do koronacji cudownych wizerunków: kult cudownych wizerunków Najświętszej Maryi Panny, wielowiekowa tradycja oraz działalność poszczególnych zgromadzeń zakonnych, które opiekowały się sanktuariami i rozpowszechniały kult Najświętszej Maryi Panny.

The crowned images of the Blessed Virgin Mary by the decree of the Holy See in the sanctuaries of the diocese of Przemyśl until 1939 – a historical outline

The study presents the crowned images of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the diocese of Przemyśl from the first half of the 18th century to 1939. Then in the diocese of Przemyśl, 14 images of Mary were crowned under papal law. The work focuses on a short history of individual images of Mary, the beginning and spread of the cult, and religious congregations or diocesan priests who took care of individual sanctuaries. The analysis made by the author revealed that the following factors had led to the coronation of the miraculous images: the cult of the miraculous images of the Virgin Mary, the centuries-old tradition, and the activity of particular religious congregations which took care of the sanctuaries and disseminated the cult of the Virgin Mary.

Les images couronnées de la Bienheureuse Vierge Marie par décret du Saint-Siège dans les sanctuaires du diocèse de Przemyśl jusqu’en 1939 – un aperçu historique

L’étude présente les images couronnées de la Bienheureuse Vierge Marie dans le diocèse de Przemyśl de la première moitié du XVIIIe siècle à 1939. Ensuite, dans le diocèse de Przemyśl, 14 images de Marie ont été couronnées selon la loi papale. Le travail se concentre sur une brève histoire des images individuelles de Marie, le début et la propagation du culte, et les congrégations religieuses ou les prêtres diocésains qui s’occupaient des sanctuaires individuels. L’analyse faite par l’auteur a révélé que les facteurs suivants ont conduit à la couronnement des images miraculeuses : le culte des images miraculeuses de la Vierge Marie, la tradition séculaire et l’activité des congrégations religieuses particulières qui s’occupaient des sanctuaires et diffusaient le culte de la Vierge Marie.
