Bractwa kościelne w parafii sokołowskiej w okresie międzywojennym

W parafii Sokołów Małopolski w okresie międzywojennym istniały różnorodne bractwa kościelne. Były to organizacje pobożne, które stanowiły szczególną formę działalności religijnej świeckich i dla wiernych była to droga do dążenia do świętości. Legislacja kościelna określała, że bractwa to pobożne stowarzyszenia wiernych, które – będąc w formie organizacji – stawiały sobie za cel poszerzenie publicznego kultu. Na przestrzeni wieków w parafii Sokołów powstało wiele bractw, w tym: Bractwo św. Anny, Bractwo Niepokalanego Poczęcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny i Bractwo Różańca Świętego. W okresie międzywojennym obszar ten charakteryzował się istnieniem sześciu bractw. W 1919 roku w Sokołowie istniały następujące bractwa: Najświętszego Sakramentu, Straży Honorowej Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa, Abstynencji, Matki Boskiej Królowej Polski oraz Świętej Rodziny. W kolejnych latach zniknęły ostatnie dwie, podczas gdy powstało Bractwo Matki Bożej Szkaplerznej.

Church confraternities in the parish of Sokołów in the interwar period.

There were different religious confraternities in the parish of Sokołów Małopolski in the interwar period. They were devotional organizations, which constituted a particular form of religious activity of the laity and for the faithful it was a way of striving for holiness. Church legislation stated that fraternities were devout associations of the faithful, which – being in the form of organization – imposed on themselves the goal of expanding public worship. Over the centuries, a number of confraternities came into being in the parish of Sokołów, including: the Confraternity of St. Ann, the Confraternity of the Immaculate Conception of the Mother of God and the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary. In the interwar period that area was marked by the existence of six confraternities. In 1919, there were the following brotherhoods in Sokołów: the Blessed Sacrament, the Guard of Honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Temperance, Our Lady Queen of the Polish Crown and the Holy Family. In subsequent years, the last two disappeared, while the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Mount Carmel came into existence.

Les confréries religieuses dans la paroisse de Sokołów pendant l’entre-deux-guerres

Il existait différentes confréries religieuses dans la paroisse de Sokołów Małopolski durant l’entre-deux-guerres. Celles-ci étaient des organisations dévotes, représentant une forme particulière d’activité religieuse du laïcat et, pour les fidèles, une voie vers la sainteté. Selon la législation ecclésiastique, les confréries étaient des associations pieuses de fidèles qui, sous forme d’organisation, se donnaient comme but d’élargir le culte public.

Au fil des siècles, de nombreuses confréries ont vu le jour dans la paroisse de Sokołów, parmi lesquelles : la Confrérie de Sainte-Anne, la Confrérie de l’Immaculée Conception de la Mère de Dieu et la Confrérie du Saint Rosaire.

Pendant l’entre-deux-guerres, la région comptait six confréries. En 1919, on comptait à Sokołów les fraternités suivantes : le Saint-Sacrement, la Garde d’Honneur du Sacré-Cœur de Jésus, la Tempérance, Notre-Dame Reine de la Couronne de Pologne et la Sainte Famille. Dans les années suivantes, les deux dernières disparurent, tandis que la Confrérie de Notre-Dame du Mont Carmel fut créée.
