Nieznane prace malarskie Wiktora Puszczyńskiego w kościołach Kolbuszowszczyzny (lata 80. XIX w.)

Wiktor Puszczyński, malarz, który osiedlił się w Przecławiu koło Mielca po Powstaniu Styczniowym, nie jest anonimową postacią w dostępnej literaturze. Jego biografia, a zwłaszcza lista prac, są jednak dalekie od pełnych. Ta ostatnia, dzięki starannemu przestudiowaniu krakowskiego czasopisma „Czas” z lat 1883 i 1886, została wzbogacona o trzy bardzo ważne prace.

Dwa artykuły opublikowane we wspomnianej gazecie zawierają informacje o polichromii wykonanej przez Puszczyńskiego w kościołach parafialnych w Kolbuszowej, Majdanie Królewskim i Sędziszowie Małopolskim. Zawierają one również bardziej szczegółowe informacje o postępie prac w dwóch pierwszych kościołach i częściowo o ich tematyce.

Wszystkie te prace bardziej szczegółowo ukazują charakter Puszczyńskiego, a zwłaszcza jego malarstwo. Mamy nadzieję, że w przyszłości uda się odnaleźć inne jego dzieła, być może przy pomocy innych artykułów prasowych.

Unknown paintings of Wiktor Puszczyński in the churches of the Kolbuszowa district (the 1880s)

Wiktor Puszczyński, a painter, who settled down in Przecław near Mielec after the January Uprising, is not an anonymous figure in the available literature. His biography, and especially the list of works are, however, far from complete. The latter, thanks to a careful reading of Krakow journal “Czas” from the years 1883 and 1886, was enriched with three very important works.

Two articles published in the aforesaid newspaper include information on the polychrome made by Puszczyński in the parish churches in Kolbuszowa, Majdan Królewski and Sędziszów Małopolski. They also contain more detailed information about the progress of work in the first two churches, and partly about its theme.

All these works reveal more extensively the character of Puszczyński, and especially his paintings. It is hoped that it will be possible to find his other works in the future, perhaps with the help of other articles in the press.

Peintures inconnues de Wiktor Puszczyński dans les églises du district de Kolbuszowa (les années 1880)

Wiktor Puszczyński, un peintre qui s’est installé à Przecław près de Mielec après l’insurrection de Janvier, n’est pas une figure anonyme dans la littérature disponible. Sa biographie, et surtout la liste de ses œuvres, sont cependant loin d’être complètes. Cette dernière, grâce à une lecture attentive du journal de Cracovie „Czas” des années 1883 et 1886, a été enrichie de trois œuvres très importantes.

Deux articles publiés dans le journal susmentionné contiennent des informations sur la polychromie réalisée par Puszczyński dans les églises paroissiales de Kolbuszowa, Majdan Królewski et Sędziszów Małopolski. Ils contiennent également des informations plus détaillées sur l’avancement des travaux dans les deux premières églises et en partie sur leur thème.

Toutes ces œuvres révèlent plus en détail le caractère de Puszczyński, et surtout ses peintures. On espère qu’il sera possible de trouver d’autres œuvres de lui à l’avenir, peut-être avec l’aide d’autres articles de presse.
