Duszpasterska i społeczno-polityczna posługa ks. Ludwika Ruczki (1814-1896) w Galicji i w stolicy monarchii austriackiej

Ks. Ludwik Ruczka (1814-1896) był księdzem, którego biografia, mimo licznych artykułów i książek jemu poświęconych, wciąż nie jest kompletna i nie zadowala czytelników, w tym badaczy. W zasadzie znamy dokładnie tylko tę część jego biografii, która wiąże się z ratowaniem powstańców styczniowych z polskich ziem pod zaborem austriackim, którzy zostali wysłani na Syberię.

Przedstawiony artykuł jest próbą przynajmniej częściowego przedstawienia działalności duszpasterskiej ks. Ruczki oraz jego działalności społecznej i politycznej w Galicji, głównie w Kolbuszowej, gdzie pełnił funkcję miejscowego proboszcza w latach 1847-1896, na terenie dekanatu Mielec oraz w Wiedniu, stolicy Cesarstwa Austro-Węgierskiego. Jednocześnie artykuł ukazuje dalsze kierunki badań nad życiem tego księdza, który odegrał ważną rolę na kartach historii.

The pastoral and socio-political activity of Rev. Ludwik Ruczka (1814-1896) in Galicia and the capital of the Austrian monarchy

Rev. Ludwik Ruczka (1814-1896) was a priest whose biography, despite the numerous articles and books devoted to him, is still not complete, so it does not satisfy readers, including researchers. In principle, we only know this part of his biography thoroughly which is related to rescuing January insurgents from the Polish land under the Austrian rule who were sent to Siberia.

The presented article is an attempt to, at least partially, present the pastoral ministry of Rev. Ruczka and his social and political activity in Galicia, mainly in Kolbuszowa, where he served as the local parish priest in 1847-1896, in the area of the Mielec deanery, and in Vienna, the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. At the same time, the paper reveals further directions of research on the life of this priest, who played an important role in the pages of history.

L’activité pastorale et socio-politique de l’abbé Ludwik Ruczka (1814-1896) en Galicie et dans la capitale de la monarchie autrichienne

L’abbé Ludwik Ruczka (1814-1896) était un prêtre dont la biographie, malgré de nombreux articles et livres qui lui sont consacrés, reste encore incomplète et ne satisfait pas les lecteurs, y compris les chercheurs. En principe, nous ne connaissons en détail que cette partie de sa biographie liée au sauvetage des insurgés de Janvier des terres polonaises sous la domination autrichienne, qui ont été envoyés en Sibérie.

L’article présenté tente de présenter, au moins partiellement, le ministère pastoral de l’abbé Ruczka et son activité sociale et politique en Galicie, principalement à Kolbuszowa, où il a servi comme curé local de 1847 à 1896, dans la région du doyenné de Mielec, et à Vienne, la capitale de l’Empire austro-hongrois. En même temps, l’article révèle d’autres directions de recherche sur la vie de ce prêtre, qui a joué un rôle important dans l’histoire.
