Nadania tytułu Honorowego Obywatela Miasta Sokołowa w okresie międzywojennym

Nadanie pierwszego tytułu Honorowego Obywatelstwa Sokołowa miało miejsce pod koniec XIX wieku. Wśród uhonorowanych tym zaszczytem był hrabia Zdzisław Tyszkiewicz, prezes Rady Powiatu Kolbuszowskiego, członek Rady Państwa i Sejmu Królestwa Galicji i Lodomerii.

Na początku XX wieku, Honorowe Obywatelstwo zostało nadane długoletnim członkom Rady Gminy Sokołów: Piotrowi Podstawskiemu i Karolowi Rampeltowi. Bestowing the title of Honorary Citizenship of Sokołów in the interwar period

Bestowing the first title of Honorary Citizenship of Sokołów took place at the end of the 19th century. Among those honoured with this dignity was Count Zdzisław Tyszkiewicz, the president of the Kolbuszowa Poviat Council, the member of the Council of State and the Diet of the Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Honorary Citizenship was bestowed on the long-standing members of the Commune Council of Sokołów: Piotr Podstawski and Karol Rampelt. The article presents the circumstances of awarding successive titles of Honorary Citizenship of Sokołów in the interwar period. Within two decades, the Sokołów Council bestowed ten such titles.

Among the honoured were the representatives of local authorities, the heads of the Sokołów court and the highest state and military dignitaries. Honorary Citizenship was also bestowed on the 17th Infantry Regiment stationed in Rzeszów.
