Kapitał kulturowy członkiń Kół Gospodyń Wiejskich Podkarpacia

Celem autora artykułu jest uchwycenie kapitału kulturowego członkiń KGW Podkarpacia. Podejmuje on zatem wieloaspektową analizę kapitału kulturowego w ujęciu Pierre’a Bourdieugo, rozpatrywanego z punktu widzenia członkiń KGW z Podkarpacia (wybrane koła oraz miejscowości) w ramach szeroko pojętej działalności w obrębie kultury.

Celem jest także pozyskanie wiedzy pozwalającej na uchwycenie stopnia zakorzenienia badanych w społeczeństwie – region Podkarpacia charakteryzuje się wysokimi wskaźnikami kapitału społecznego typu wiążącego (ocena procesu adaptacji społeczno-kulturowej w kulturze polskiej, osiągnięty status zawodowy i materialny, jakość życia, poziom partycypacji społecznej itd.) – oraz siły więzi społecznych i emocjonalnych łączących respondentki z tradycją i kulturą.

Kolejną kwestią zarysowaną w artykule jest kapitał kulturowy, stanowiący zasoby tkwiące w człowieku i warunkujący jego funkcjonowanie w społeczeństwie. Kształtowanie kapitału kulturowego przebiega przez socjalizację pierwotną i wtórną. Istotną rolę w kształtowaniu kapitału kulturowego odgrywa rodzina, społeczność lokalna, a także szeroko pojęta partycypacja społeczna.

Ocena zasobów kapitału kulturowego członkiń KGW może przynieść rozeznanie o roli KGW w ramach kształtowania kapitału kulturowego. Podjęcie tematu jest dostrzeżeniem jednego z najbardziej dotkliwych aktualnie problemów społecznych w kraju, czyli partycypacji społecznej na rzecz dobra wspólnego lub jej braku w obrębie kultury.

Cultural Capital in the Activities of Female Members of Rural Housewives Circles in the Podkarpacie Region

The aim of the article is to capture the cultural capital of the members within the activities of the Country Housewives’ Associations in the Podkarpacie region. The author undertakes a multifaceted analysis of cultural capital from Pierre Bourdieu’s perspective, considered from the point of view of the members of country housewives’ associations from Podkarpacie (selected associations and places) within the framework of broadly understood cultural activities.

The aim of this article is also to gain knowledge allowing us to grasp the degree of rootedness of the respondents in society. The region is characterized by high indicators of bonding social capital, as well as the strength of social and emotional ties connecting the respondents with tradition and culture.

Another issue outlined in the article is cultural capital, a resource inherent in human beings that determines their functioning in society. The formation of cultural capital occurs through socialization, both primary and secondary. An important role in the formation of cultural capital is played by the family, the local community, as well as broadly defined social participation.

The assessment of the cultural capital resources of the members of country housewives’ associations may provide insight into the role of these associations within the formation of cultural capital. Raising this subject acknowledges one of the most acute current social issues in the country, namely social participation for the common good or its disappearance in culture.

Le capital culturel dans les activités des membres féminins des Cercles de Femmes Rurales dans la région de Podkarpacie

L’objectif de cet article est de saisir le capital culturel des membres dans le cadre des activités des Associations de Femmes Rurales dans la région de Podkarpacie. L’auteur entreprend une analyse multifacette du capital culturel selon l’approche de Pierre Bourdieu, considérée du point de vue des membres des associations de femmes rurales de Podkarpacie (associations et lieux sélectionnés) dans le cadre des activités culturelles au sens large.

L’objectif de cet article est également d’acquérir des connaissances permettant de comprendre le degré d’enracinement des répondants dans la société. La région se caractérise par des indicateurs élevés de capital social liant, ainsi que par la force des liens sociaux et émotionnels reliant les répondants à la tradition et à la culture.

Un autre aspect abordé dans l’article est le capital culturel, une ressource inhérente aux êtres humains qui détermine leur fonctionnement dans la société. La formation du capital culturel se fait par la socialisation, tant primaire que secondaire. Un rôle important dans la formation du capital culturel est joué par la famille, la communauté locale, ainsi que par la participation sociale au sens large.

L’évaluation des ressources de capital culturel des membres des associations de femmes rurales peut fournir un aperçu du rôle de ces associations dans la formation du capital culturel. Aborder ce sujet reconnaît l’un des problèmes sociaux les plus aigus du pays actuellement, à savoir la participation sociale pour le bien commun ou sa disparition dans la culture.
