„Kurenda” wydawana w latach 1841-1900 przez władze kościelne dostarcza różnorodnej wiedzy na temat funkcjonowania diecezji przemyskiej w określonych warunkach społeczno-politycznych. Najwięcej miejsca poświęcono przedstawieniu organizacji życia religijnego wiernych, zakresu zorganizowanej opieki konserwatorskiej nad zabytkami architektury i sztuki sakralnej chrześcijańskiej. Na podstawie doniesień prasowych scharakteryzowano ofiarodawców na rzecz kościołów w diecezji przemyskiej, od najzamożniejszych do najuboższych, jak również rodzaj ofiary. Abstract Kurenda, published by the church authorities from 1841 to 1900, offers a comprehensive insight into the history of the Przemyśl diocese amidst specific social and political contexts. The publication predominantly delves into topics related to the organization of religious life and conservation efforts aimed at preserving sacred architecture and Christian art. Through press reports, donors contributing to churches in the Przemyśl diocese, ranging from the wealthiest to the poorest, and the nature of their contributions, were characterized. This data facilitated the initial identification of local craftsmen workshops and provided an overarching understanding of artistic imports used to furnish churches and their surroundings. Furthermore, the magazine sheds light on the everyday religious life, including discussions on the housing conditions of the diocesan clergy and pilgrimages to Marian sanctuaries within the Przemyśl diocese.
