Profesor dr hab. Zofia Włodek – biografia

Profesor Zofia Włodek urodziła się 30 sierpnia 1925 roku w Krakowie, w zamożnej rodzinie ziemiańskiej, która oddała wielkie zasługi Polsce. Była związana z Ostrowami Tuszowskimi. Studiowała na Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim, a następnie na Katolickim Uniwersytecie Lubelskim, gdzie uzyskała tytuł magistra, a w 1955 roku doktorat z filozofii średniowiecznej. W 1959 roku profesor Włodek rozpoczęła badania nad paleografią i kodykologią w Dziale Rękopisów Biblioteki Jagiellońskiej. W 1969 roku uzyskała stopień doktora habilitowanego, w 1980 roku została profesorem nadzwyczajnym, a w 1991 roku profesorem zwyczajnym w dziedzinie nauk humanistycznych. Profesor Włodek była redaktorem i tłumaczem średniowiecznych tekstów filozoficznych. Zmarła 10 lutego 2018 roku w Krakowie.

Professor Zofia Włodek was born into a wealthy landowning family – who rendered great service to Poland – on 30 August 1925 in Cracow. She was connected with Ostrowy Tuszowskie. She studied at the Jagiellonian University and then at the Catholic University of Lublin, where she obtained her Master’s degree and in 1955 a doctorate in medieval philosophy. In 1959, Professor Włodek began research on palaeography and codicology in the Manuscripts Section of the Jagiellonian Library. In 1969, she received a post-doctoral degree, in 1980 became an associate professor, and in 1991 full professor in the field of humanities. Professor Włodek was an editor and translator of medieval philosophical texts. She died on 10 February 2018 in Cracow.

Elle a étudié à l’Université Jagellonne puis à l’Université Catholique de Lublin, où elle a obtenu son diplôme de maîtrise et, en 1955, un doctorat en philosophie médiévale. En 1959, le Professeur Włodek a commencé des recherches sur la paléographie et la codicologie dans la section des manuscrits de la Bibliothèque Jagellonne. En 1969, elle a obtenu un diplôme postdoctoral, en 1980, elle est devenue professeure associée et en 1991, professeure titulaire dans le domaine des sciences humaines. Le Professeur Włodek était rédactrice et traductrice de textes philosophiques médiévaux. Elle est décédée le 10 février 2018 à Cracovie.
